I will watch and see if I can make it out but I would think that they

are Tai Chi breathing, I have heard of that before. I will get back to you

if I can work it out.

taught in Tai Chi and very beneficial and aids calming down in stressful

situations. I will keep my eye out for the book and have a little read in

the bookshop to see what I can glean.

The only think I can find on the internet re Gearin-Tosh and his

biography Living Proof is this from Amazon who say the book will be available

from 4 Feb.

However, my mil has multiple myloma and has been told that it could be years

before it becomes a problem. She is 81 now and was diagnosed some 4 years ago

and has not progressed to stage II as yet. There are 3 stages to this and it

depends on how virilent the cancer is and at what stage they diagnose. I

could only find one site that would be any good.

http://www.tmfhs.org/topics/cancer/myeloma.htm

Synopsis

At the age of 54, Gearin-Tosh discovered he had bone marrow cancer.

This is the story of his quest to manage and overcome his illness; his

determination to not to be coerced into joining programmes of invasive

treatments; and his resolve to stand up to the NHS, specialists and

colleagues who encouraged him to follow the conventional route as a cancer

patient. The author selected a number of regimes and devised his own routine

and diets, and six years on he still survives, despite being told he should

" expect to die soon " . This is not a " how-to " book, but an account of one

man's quest to listen to his inner voice of intuition.

Thanks nne. I'll probably buy the book when it's out. Sounds like an

interesting read and should explain about the breathing.

Don't know anything about this guy, but it might be yoga. I recently started

taking a class and it really gets the blood flowing. I'd never done yoga

before, and now I highly recommend

it. Breathing properly is a big part of yoga. Just a thought.

This book is a all around book on how to recapture your health.

but he does have a book on rebounding and it goes into great

details on all of the aspects of that.

If you call this number, I'm sure someone can help with these answers.

It's been a few yrs since I read 's rebounder book and am not sure

where it is located at this moment. It's very good.

Hi Edith,

Rebounding was the first thing that came to my mind as well. I just

bought a rebounder yesterday after hearing about how wonderful it is

for moving lymph. Does that book have any specific exercises to do to

get the lymph moving or is it just the up and down motion?

Thanks,

Denny

Thanks for the info Edith. After buying the rebounder, no money left

in the budget at the moment for books...maybe in a few months. Will

hope that the jumping is all that's needed to get the lymph flowing :)
