Sounds like you have that bad allergy thing going around. I had it for 4 days, right before my explant. I was MISERABLE! Mine started out as a bad sore throat, and then the next day my nose was running really bad and I couldn't stop sneezing. Then I had fever and just felt like crap! I work at a health food store and I drank a shot of wheatgrass and drank an organic smoothie, and was MUCH better after that! My husband got it the next week. It's all over the South-everyone at work had it too. No use going to the doctor...it will go away in a few days. It's something to do with the high pollen count in the South. I think it's basically an allergic reaction to ragweed if I remember right from what I read online.GMCLADY98@... wrote: Never had sinus problems ever before, it's burning eyes, teeth hurt, ears hurt and stuffy nose and BAD ASS HEADACHES. If this came about after your explant, maybe the anesthesia brought it

on. I didn't grow hair under my arms and my legs were patchy for a

few months after explant, and I figured that was from anesthesia.

I wouldn't say that antibiotics are bad for us as a general statement. There is actually a therapy out there that uses low dose antibiotics to heal rheumatic diseases. Kathy has done this therapy, and I think another of our women tried it as well (I think there is a foundation called The Road Back Foundation or something like that..... check out http://www.roadback.org/

But I think my point was that for those with fungal issues, antibiotics are just not going to work. In fact, antibiotics can make fungal issues worse, as the good bacteria that help control overgrowth of candida (a fungus) are wiped out and candida can gain a foothold in the gut, causing other serious problems.

The important thing to find out with a sinus infection is if it is indeed a bacterial infection which is assumed, or a fungal infection, which is often overlooked.
