Guest guest
Margie, I'm afraid you did sign your right away. Your doctor will have a copy of the consent form you signed. . . The only possiblity I know of is if there is a case that the valves were defective and Mentor allowed the implants anyway. . . You will have to find an attorney who will talk to you first! However, don't be surprised if no one does because attorney's willing to take the cases are few and far between. Whether you were fully conscious or not, you likely signed a consent form that relieved the surgeon and manufacturer of any liability! The time is past to register for implants that were placed prior to 1992. Rotten business! Guest guest
I am absolutely sure that if you got these in 1996, you signed an agreement not to sue.
