Guest guest
Leyna, Be sure to touch base with Colleen . . . She'll understand what you're going through and can fill you in on Dr. Shanklin. . . .maybe get you into see him even if he's not practicing any more. . . He is/was at the medical school there. Yep . . . we get our water from Hot Springs too! . . . Wonderful water! . . . We carry it with us when we travel if we have room! . . . I see so many people putting the water, hot from the springs, into cheap plastic containers though! Toxin City! . . . One woman poured her water out after I mentioned the problem with plastics last week. . . Her daughter has real bad arthritis . . and the woman had her implants removed some time ago but continues to have some problems. . I gave her a bunch of links, etc. but haven't heard from her yet. Guest guest
Yeah, I'm bad about that too...putting water in plastic containers. I'm a cashier, and have to stand in one spot for 8 hours-well, except for my lunch break and one ten minute break. I buy distilled water and pour it in my plastic container and then freeze it overnight so it will be cold at work, with ice in it. The glass would break if I put it in glass....and I know about the toxins in plastic, but I can't think of another alternative for my water, so that I can have it icy for work. So, out of everyone who has implants removed..for the most part, do they get better (Fibro, etc),or do you just stay the same? --- Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > Leyna, > > Be sure to touch base with Colleen . . . Guest guest
Leyna, Actually, according to the Orientals, room temperature water is better for the body than ice water . . . We drink all our Hot Springs water at room temp. . . . Unless we are really, really hot, then we'll add some ice cubes made with filtered water. I do take ice water into the infrared sauna with me. There's no guarantee that anyone will experience a 100% return to health after getting their implants removed. Almost everyone does get much better . . . But, from what we're seeing, (and I'm experiencing), our new-found health is somewhat fragile. If we take care of ourselves properly, we can feel completely normal . . Fibro and all. But, if we take our health for granted, and abuse our bodies through diet, exercise, stress, sleep, anger, etc., we quickly realize that we aren't quite are resilient as our friends. In the long run . . . I expect that most of us who remain vigilant will live longer, healthier lives than we would have if we hadn't gotten implants in the first place. As a senior, I see friends physically deteriorating while accepting it as the aging process. They aren't motivated to do the things necessary to remove the environmental toxins they've become laden with. . . And they don't want to hear about them either! Guest guest
I guess I'm just confused about that...I mean, I would think that once you remove the implants, and then do a good full-body detox, I can't see how some people can STILL be sick...like Shari, having her first seizure AFTER her implants were removed. It almost seems like it's not even worth having them removed if you don't get any better! --- Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > Leyna, > > Actually, according to the Orientals, room > temperature water is better for the body than ice > water . . . Guest guest
Leyna, I don't know what kinds of detox programs Shari followed . . . I know that her implants were grossly contaminated - the worst I've heard of. Shari is the first woman we've seen who has epileptic seizures. . . I think she said she had a seizure when she was a small child. . Implants may not have caused the seizures, but they certainly didn't help! What I've observed in the 12 years I've been involved in support is that the women who get their implants out, and make an honest effort to detox and follow a healthy lifestyle do well . . . Those I met when I first got involved in this mess, who stayed wed to conventional medicine, are much sicker, or dead. . . We're all exposed to toxins everywhere we turn . . . In our water, the air, our foods (pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers), and our home environment - cleanering products, carpets, paints, etc. . .. . Because we've taken a huge hit because of breast implants, we've had just about all the junk we can handle . . . Detoxing must become a way of life. I look at this this way . . . Consider that each of us are born with an empty glass . . . (Granted, some get larger glasses than others) As we go through life, this glass begins to fills with the toxins we encounter . . . When it becomes nearly full, we experience some splashing (symptoms) . . . when it starts to overflow, we get seriously sick. The goal of detoxing is to lower the level of toxins in our glass so we can tolerate everyday exposures without getting sick. It's going to be a lifetime thing for most of us. If we were among the rich and famous, we could afford to go to detox centers where they would do exotic detox programs like IV's, colonics, flushes, etc. . . . but we have to do with what we have . . . Guest guest
Yeah, I really envy the rich and famous-they can afford the fancy detoxes, and if they want to keep the implants, they just get new ones whenever they need to...must be nice! LOL --- Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > Leyna, > > I don't know what kinds of detox programs Shari > followed . . . I know that her implants were grossly > contaminated - the worst I've heard of. Guest guest
Terri . . . Has anybody contacted you with the name of a surgeon in Hawaii yet? . . I haven't heard of any yet. Guest guest
and Terri, I put out a request for a referral to all the groups I know of this evening . . . If they don't come up with a recommendation, it looks like you'll have to recruit one! . . . It doesn't have to be a plastic surgeon . . . And the surgeon doesn't have to believe that implants are dangerous . . . What he/she has to do is to commit to removing implants properly (en block if at all possible), or a complete capsulectomy if en bloc isn't possible. . . and to use drains following the surgery . . . Remember he is working FOR YOU! . . . You have every right to tell him how you want your implants removed . . . It's your body! . . . If a surgeon tells you that you'll be depressed if they're not replaced, or tells you that you'll be deformed, you have the wrong doctor! . . . What I don't understand is that, as far as I know, all plastic surgeons remove implants, if they are going to replace the implants . .. Suddenly when you want them removed without replacement, they become completely inept. I'd suggest taking a copy of Dr. Blais' paper on capsules with you . . . and inviting the doctor to see the photos on the Shutterfly website . . . Be sweet, be nice . . . but be firm!
