I can't even imagine anyone making an appt. for surgery before

knowing anything about the surgeon. Yikes! Do women really go

there and get explants? It constantly amazes me how many people

never ever question a doctor about his policies, recommendations,

etc. I know someone now who needs a kidney transplant and can't

have it because he has cancer in his throat. He just blindly

follows what they tell him he needs to do next. When I asked

questions about his options or even his condition, he just says that

he didn't want to know and that he knew that the doctors would know

what is best for him. Yea,right! We have to do our own research

and be our own advocate and stand up for ourselves despite how it is

perceived by the medical community. ly, I would rather be well

than liked! I think the advice to run, not walk, from that place is

right on target!
