Guest guest
Welcome to the group Mike I think you'll find people here who really care for each other. You sound like a young man who has so many problems. We're seniors and my husband has had severe back problems since October. You have 2 sons who need you and Im sure love you dearly. Try to keep your spirits up - my husband has such a good attitude - Im the one who gets down. I find the people in this group add support and advice when asked for it. Welcome and good luck to you. Guest guest
Hello Mike! I would like to welcome you to this forum. I know that you will soon find out what a wonderful group of people this is. I'm sorry that it is pain that brought you here but this is a wonderful place to talk to others who know exactly what you are going through. Please feel free to rant, rave, vent, or just have some good conversation. I like the latter myself but will do a little venting once in a while too. ha ha Hugs & Prayers, Carol (OK) > Mike M wrote: > I just joined the group. Guest guest
Hi Mike, I'm sorry to hear of your injuries. I became disabled in 2003, literally on my 30th birthday (I remember showing off how I could pop my hip out of joint). I have a disease called osteonecrosis and I have several back problems too. It all seems to add up for some of us. I don't know why, and I often wonder what I did to deserve this - I think we all do. I am 35 now and have a 6 year old child. She is much too old for her age though, seems she has had to grow up faster than she should. I'm having hip revision surgery in a month, and I'm not looking forward to it. I am not on disability yet, I've just had too much trouble getting together all the proper documentation. I need to be, it's a stigma for me I think. I don't want to be there, but I am. Welcome to the group - certainly glad to have you here! Mike wrote: > > Hello > > I just joined the group. You've been gone from the group for quite awhile. We have some new moderators since you were last here. Kaylene, Cheryl in Az, and Caitlin K. joined me as moderators a few years ago. Ray and both stepped down 'way back when. Sandy G. is also a moderator, but she has been too ill to help for awhile now. Time goes by so quickly. Your kids must be getting pretty big now. -- Lyndi Moderator
Guest guest
Be carefull of fentanyl patchs, I had a reaction after 13 days and thought I was going to die. Watch for constipation. I am told there are problems with the generic ones. I don't wish what I went through on anyone, becareful. Lost 20 lbs in one week.
