Guest guest
, You told Kelli about your experience with feeling like you have a bug on your lower lip while driving. She mentioned reaching down and brushing something off her leg. I have a similar problem. Except when I reach down to brush it off my leg, it's my dog. Sorry, just had to do that. I have had that feeling several times in the past 4 years. It feels like a bug is crawling across my leg or bare foot. One time I brushed without thinking and it was a spider. Talk about surprises! I started looking every time after that for awhile, but nothing else ever appeared. It is a strange sensation, but doesn't happen too often with me anymore. And about your " throwing things. " This is a hyper reflex response, one of the defining symptoms of PLS apparently. I take Klonopin to keep it under control. I use an enclosed, insulated mug at work and a ship's mug at home. The latter is shaped like a triangle with a chimney and has a smaller opening than a regular mug. I have begun to drop things, but not because I'm startled. I think I am getting clumsy and I'm blaming PLS for it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Best to you. Mike Gray
