Hi! My name is Lee. My daughter Grace also attends the BOCES program at

Bethpage. She is only 9 months old-so she is only with Kathy (infant

program) one day a week. Matt- I met you at the evening parents meeting in

April.

My question is---Grace has speech in our home once a week provided by early

intervention---when she is a year old, what is the standard amount of speech

therapy that early intervention should provide? I have been told twice a

week. Is that correct?

Grace has a profound hearing loss in both ears and is aided with a FM from

BOCES.

I would appreciate any experience you could share with me.

always had a minimum of three days a week plus one visit from the school

for

the deaf...for sign language/language instruction. So, four visits a week...
