Guest guest
Do you need to put the alcohol in a warm place like the sun? or heat it? Guest guest
No, don't put it in the sun. It doesn't need to be more than room temperature. You can use Vodka, or stronger grain alcohol. Put enough alcohol to cover it all up, put a lid on the jar and just let it sit for at least 2 weeks, shaking it up a couple of times a day. I put my tinctures on the kitchen counter so I can shake them up whenever I walk by. > > And you can make your own tincture by putting the root in alcohol > > for at least two weeks then straining. Guest guest
I< I've noticed dandelion in most detox products. It seems so important for the liver and bile, I can't imagine it being bad for the gallbladder. But I'm no expert, and hey, I don't even have a gallbladder anymore.....just interested in learning more. Thought I'd pass this along. >> _______________ Hi, Janet, Dr. Cabot has it in her liver tonics. Since I haven't bought her liver tonics in some time, which they're very good, I bought some Dandelion at the health food store. Yes, I take it! I can't find it where I live, but you can buy the greens to put in your salad. It's also a good diuretic. Susie
