finally, i got here! here is my rundown, my knowledge and interest in

acm is like at least a *week* or so old; i have had some good

conversations and support from folks like *chris, kathleen, and

dolores*, for those of you who have been around awhile; my specs: i am

a 55 yr old male in houston, texas who just realized that i have many,

many of the symptoms of acm; trust me, the list if very long, it would

be easier to tell you the few symptoms that i *do not* have!

i have not been diagnosed with acm, or anything else as of yet! i have

an appt this thursday with a neurosurgeon, for the first time, and

would really very much appreciate all of your support, good thoughts,

and prayers regarding this dr being able to diagnose correctly what is

going on with me; i will not bore you all with details, but i can tell

you that some of my symptoms go back about 40 years (deafness and

ringing in right ear?);

also, at age 13 and about 18, i was involved in accidents where i

*smashed* my face, then the top of my skull into the pavement,

respectively; i was never treated or diagnosed for any problems that

have shown up since then;

my most recent symptoms that concern me the most are pulmonary type

problems and swallowing problems, i also just realized that i have *no

gag reflex*!

would love to hear from you and accept all your good thoughts and

prayers for my (hopefully) soon coming diagnosis!
