Guest guest
Don't have a capsulartomy..I did and it won't help your pain...not at all ! I had a capsulartomy Jan 06 and had an explant Sept 06...I to was achey all the time and now without the implants I am getting better and better and its only been 5 weeks. Also having a capsulatomy then an explant...you lose breast tissue...twice....so don't.My right breast is smaller cause I did that...and by the way...my breast look great ! I had a lift I'm still a 34 C and my 29 year old daughter say they look more fake now than they did before...which is a compliment.
Guest guest
How do your breasts compare to pre-implant? My PS said they will probaly look the same but possibly more saggy. He did suggest a lift - will that help a ton? How long was your down time after surgery? And, how long did you have drains in for? What can I expect post op? I'm so undecided on what to do..........I can't seem to keep a clear mind about all this information. Thank you for your advice. Guest guest
Maureen, I look almost exactly like I looked before implants, too. I didn't need a lift. I had my drains in for 5 days. I wasn't in a great deal of pain after explant, but I was quite fatigued. I missed one week of school (I was out of work at the time and going to school full-time), and two weeks after surgery I hosted Thanksgiving for about 14 people. My symptoms didn't disappear over night, and almost a year post-explant I'm feeling much better, but it's going to take time because my immune system was weak to begin with.
