Guest guest
thanks!!! I am sure that was highly edited...... it was pretty good... they let me say whatever I wanted as well.... MTV did too but they took a lot of that out... the ABC news team did not. I respect them for that. Not that I don't respect the MTV people as I certainly do - very highly - the fact that they on their own decided to throw a negative story into every episode no matter how short was amazing if you ask me. They only had 3 minutes... they used it wisely.... although it was embarrassing, and was re-shown on the abc news piece to my further embarrassment, the part at the end of both show w/ me crying, talking about my son and being worried about dying before he was old enough to remember me.... that was a good piece - from the heart... the minute it was over I made them stop taping and went to my room... I knew right then it was gonna air but I didn't care... to be honest - of all the people that I do not know personally that have come up to me in grocery stores and the mall, etc., right after the airing and recognized me and made a comment about it??? this is what they remembered and what moved them the most.... so be it... it was the truth - so I cryed on national television even though I had my makeup on and tried to act perfect for 4 days... I got thru to people that way and it was real and people to this day still remember it. I spoke a while back to one of the producers - one that is working on the hulk hogan reality thing on VH1.... she says it still gets brought up at the station... I was also told that during the "cutting and editing" of my four day segment, it took lots of people and man hours to do the show.... supposedly there was not a dry eye in the house after that.... who knows... I have watched it 10 times at least as many have come here - family and such that do not have or watch MTV and I cry each time I see it.... I know it is coming but it is so much how I feel.... brings all those feelings out as I still feel that way. I got a ton of calls the nite it aired the first time - ended at 1100 here... from people yelling at me for making them cry as well.... hehe didn't mean to... just sharing my experience.... I DO NOT lie.... too bad they do not show the bloopers from that as I could fill up 24 hours with that I think.... There were spots I had to keep doing over and over for advertising and opening segments like : hello - my name is shari and I am from ...... : hello - I wanted to look like .... because of .... I kept screwing them up as I kept laughing... one of the very best was this... gotta share it to give you girls a good laugh... I could be an actress I think.... my idol at the time of implanting was Demi moore - wanted to have implants about her size.. I was about her size... look similar... etc... that was also who I brought up during my piece... I had to say.... Hi, My name is shari, and I wanted to look like Demi moore because...... so I added after the hundreth time I had to do it - straight face and all - kept going as if nothing happened or weird was said... because I want to have a hunk like Ashton Kutcher.... the crew about fell over.....I said what?.....well - it is kinda true.... hehe shari
