Guest guest
Joni, Some scar more than others, so that may be the only explanation. It is important that scar tissue that can hold sluffed off silicone particles be removed, and doctors like Dr. Huang do their best to remove it all. This does not mean you will not fluff out, because most women do. Meanwhile, I think focusing on healing and detoxing, knowing that the toxic bags and the scar tissue is out of your body. I am sure Huang will give you more information when you see her again. Guest guest
-Joni, Congrats on your surgery you are on your way to healing. It takes a few months to fluff out. But once your bandages come off you will love the fact that you are soft again. I know I did. Give your self time and don't be bummed out. You have a chance to get healthy again. Best wishes and take it easy don't be hard on yorself and rest. aloha Terri P -- In , coss@... wrote: > > Joni, > > Some scar more than others, so that may be the only explanation. > > It is important that scar tissue that can hold sluffed off silicone > particles be removed, and doctors like Dr. Huang do their best to remove > it all. > > This does not mean you will not fluff out, because most women do. > Meanwhile, I think focusing on healing and detoxing, knowing that the > toxic bags and the scar tissue is out of your body. > > I am sure Huang will give you more information when you see her again. > > Lynda > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I introduced myself a few weeks back, but haven't recently gotten on > > b/c I've been so busy with school and work. Guest guest
Joni...congrats to you...I looked flat at first then in about 3 weeks I looked a lot different, I was a saggy c before implants got small saline c's and now I'm back to a c again , I also had a T lift. So I'm pretty happy, I have bras from before implants © and I'm wearing them again. I had my saline implants for not quit 3 years. Good Luck. Guest guest
Joni, good for you! Hooray! Another woman on the way to good health. I was explanted on July 26 of this year, after 20 yr. silicone gel implants. I'm on the mend...and loving it. Still have issues to deal with and detoxing, however it's a real relief to be implant-free. Other women can respond better than me regarding " fluffing out " etc. all I know is that my breasts are miy own and anything else doesn't matter anymore! I want my life back and that's what counts to me. Please love yourself just the way you are....I know, somedays it's hard. Love & Lots of Blessings, Sunny > > Hi everyone, > > I introduced myself a few weeks back, but haven't recently gotten on > b/c I've been so busy with school and work. Guest guest
Hey Joni, The scar tissue should not reform at all. Scar tissue usually forms around an implant, but Dr. Huang should have removed all the scar tissue along with the implant, and you should have just your breast tissue left at this point. You will probably experience fluffing out over a period of time...like a year or so. Please don't get too freaked out about the flattened shape of your breasts at this point. They are probably all smooshed down from the implants and will need time to fill out again. I believe that the breast tissue fills out to the previous size for the most part over time. How did your post op appt go? Patty Explanted Today! Hi everyone,I introduced myself a few weeks back, but haven't recently gotten on b/c I've been so busy with school and work. Anyhow, I was explanted Mentor Saline) with Huang today and have a few questions if anyone can help. She indicated that I had a great deal of scar tissue that had to be removed, and I'm wondering why I had so much (she said she usually doesn't see that much)? Basically before implant I was a good B to small C cup and just went to a full C after implant. I'm scared b/c although I haven't seen under the bandages I look flat. Will the scar tissue reform, and should I fluff out? I know the main thing is to feel better, and that is my main concern, but I'd like to know why I look so flat. I'm bummed. Oh and also I had a small lift done as well. I feel so sore, probably from all the scraping, but hopefully she was able to get all the scar tissue out if there was so much. I do have faith that she did her best. I barely got to talk to her today so I can't wait for my post op this Friday.Joni
Guest guest
I don't have my post op appt. until tomorrow. Today I had a rough day. Really achy all over and had a headache similar to the fibro symptoms I had before explant. My wrists, arms, and neck feel so sore. I felt better day one and two after explant. Anyhow, I am trying to keep my spirits up and will let you know how the appointment goes tomorrow. Thanks for the support. joni > > Hey Joni, > The scar tissue should not reform at all.
