Hopefully she'll find you qualify for additional funds in one of the settlement programs. Rogene

Guest guest
Leyna, Did you have saline? How did you manage to get the explant covered? That's amazing. Bindi Re: compensation No, but I'll be getting my explant money any day now, thanks to Molly. It's just $4,080, but it's better than not getting anything!jeanine buchanan <neenie502002 > wrote: Has anyone gotten any compensation for breast implant personal injury and/or has anyone gotten any thing from dcsettlement? Guest guest
Bindi, Mine were Silicone. When I had them put in, the doctor told me he was putting in Saline....so, for 16 years, I thought I had Saline. I signed up for the Dow Corning settlement one year after I got them. It wasn't until a few months ago that I found out they were in fact, Silicone-by Bristol. So my files were sent to MDL, where I called them about the explant assitance program. Molly has been helping me, and I should get my money hopefully next week, after they mail it to her and she mails it to me.freebindi <bindi@...> wrote: Leyna, Did you have saline? Guest guest
-Bindi, I had saline and just received my explant money plus 1000 advance on my settlement. I had Bristol Meyers so the explant money and advance were from the MDL. It took me a year to get my money, I am still waiting for my disease claim class #7 from Dow. Guest guest
Lynda, Yes I have an attorney but he practices family law. He is a friend of 25 years. I did everything myself. I sent all the paperwork for class #7 to Dow before the June deadline. And then my proof of manufacturer form for the explant assistance to MDL and they paid the money for that as well as advance 1000 towards my settlement. I was told this was how I was suppose to do it. It was very confusing. Now you have me concerned, I have had my attorney talk with both Mdl and Dow and was told this was what I was to do. We are waitng for confirmation, I had no deficinies and they did receive my claim, wouldn't they have said at that time i did something backwards? I was told they are working together to get this all resolved. Guest guest
, WOW this is so not what I was told. I feel like jumping off a bridge right now. Nobody has even mentioned this to me before now, not Dow or MDL. I have talked personally with both offices numerous times, I hope that I am not in big trouble here, I will lose my mind. Seriously I feel like I am going to have a heart attack right now. Guest guest
-Lynda, But what about the deadline. It was June for Dow what about that? Will it be too late did they have the same deadline? Thank you for your replys I feel really sick right now Terri P and I wasn't joking about the heart attack. Guest guest
Lynda, Yes I am registered, I just didn't know that I had to also fill out a disease claim packet for the MDL. Thank you I didn't know that I only did that for Dow. Anyway I will have them send me the packet asap. And fire my attorney. You know I had even encouraged him to find out about the explant and he said oh don't worry about them now lets concentrate on Dow, So I took it upon myself to contact MDL and ask for the explant info and they sent it and I received the money pretty quickly after. If I had done what he said I would still be waiting and know nothing, Thank you since I am registered with them and Dow I still have time to get the claim to the MDL. Guest guest
Lynda, Her attorney could file a lien for " quantum meruit " - or for the work he has already done. She should talk with him about that. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone gotten any compensation for breast > >implant > > > > > >personal > > > > > > > > > >injury and/or has anyone gotten any thing from > > > >dcsettlement? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Neenie > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------- > >---- > > > >-- > > > > > > > > > >-------- > > > > > > > > > > > Stay in the know.
