Guest guest
Fruit and fruit juice blended together. Sometimes yogurt or tofu are added, as well as other nutritional supplements like brewer's yeast, bee pollen, etc. But basically it is fruit and juice blended in a blender. > Does anyone know what fruit smoothies are? Guest guest
Hi, on one of the home type shows on tv the other day, they gave a simple recipe for fruit sorbet, if you don't mind canned fruit like peaches, pears, fruit cocktail; Put the canned fruit in freezer till frozen good and solid. Use a can opener at both ends and slide it out into the blender. Add 1 tbl lemon juice Blend and serve while still firm This just sounded similar to someones answer about smoothies. Guest guest
Actually, canned fruit has no nutrition, so try to find the real thing. And freezing is a great way to make fruit dishes - freezing the fruit and then putting it through a champion juicer creates a fruit dish similar to sorbet's consistency. > Hi, on one of the home type shows on tv the other day, they gave a > simple recipe for fruit sorbet, if you don't mind canned fruit like > peaches, pears, fruit cocktail; > Put the canned fruit in freezer till frozen good and solid. > Use a can opener at both ends and slide it out into the blender. > Add 1 tbl lemon juice > Blend and serve while still firm > This just sounded similar to someones answer about smoothies. > Kathy B
