The breast implant manufacturer's are major supporters of Y-Me! . . . as well as the Komen Foundation. You can't get either of those organizations to say anything bad about breast implants. Rogene

Really? well, that would make sense. I guess I was taking it as he

might be more of a reconstructive surgeon, and therefore, better. But

I see your point.

Oh, geeze, that is a red flag right there. The Y-ME Cancer Support Group is all about implants! I'll be shocked if you get a positive response from this expert regarding your own symptoms being related to breast implants. Please keep us posted on what happens. founding medical doctor for the advisory board of the Y-ME Breast Cancer Support Group, and he has been lauded in the Chicago press as being one of the top reconstructive surgeons, so that gives me hope. I know he has been featured on (and we all know about her experience :( ) and other programs. I had forgotten alot of the info since it's been a decade, but I remember now thinking that if anything went wrong, I wanted a connection with someone who did reconstructive work. SO, now all he has to do is past my test with all of your questions! Thanks to all of you, I won't just be dazzled by an impressive resume...it's gotta feel right in my soul.

Right, now I am learning that! I can't imagine HOW one finds a surgeon sympathetic to explanting. I am very resourceful but I feel like I am at a stand-still in that area. If you call they are only trying to get you in for an 'exchange' in the long run. Anyone heard of anyone good in Chicago? I understand why many make the trip to Ohio and Georgia. Still, it will be good to start w/ my ps - pratice my 'ps interviewing skills' again. Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Oh, geeze,

Emerald . . . Don't worry about what the doctor thinks or believes. . . What you're looking for is a doctor who respects your right to have the surgery done the way you want it done, and the skills to do it right. . . .ALL plastic surgeons use breast implants . . . Including our recommended docs. . . .At least they give their patients more accurate information. Rogene
