Guest guest
I bought one of these and used it for a few weeks. At first, I thought I felt something ... a sense of calm. Over time, that equanimity didn't last for me. I tucked the mat away and stopped using (mainly because it was cold and you have to put bare feet on it)... Thanks for reminding me, Joanne... I just took it out and will try again. " ) PS I also read the book EARTHING. It's really an interesting read. It seems there is something to Earth connection. I also feel better when outside with my bare feet on the ground... did that yesterday. It's just so hard to do it every day. > Hi > > I have been meaning to post this for a few days, just very busy > > for those of you exposed to a lot oa EMFs there are grounding mats on Amazon > > This video and site are good > > http://www.heartmdinstitute.com/heart-healthy-lifestyles/alternative-healing/gro\ unding-earthing > > and if you have time look at the old posts on fibromyalgiacured from Sara Tung, I will post more later > > Love Joanne > > > To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > > Sent: Monday, 5 March 2012, 17:27 > Subject: Re: Re: Working full-time... > > > Sim > Ugh the fumes! No wonder you feel awful when you are there. I can't handle chemical fumes or perfumes, smoke, cleaning agents, dusty, moldy smells, any of that stuff. It causes my lungs to tighen and I get bad headaches. Yes, sitting at a computer is not good for us at all. I get pretty bored of it too. I like to move around more. I still think if I go back to waitressing, I might improve my health again. I know its not considered a professional job, but it makes decent money even though there are no benefits. I pay for my own insurance now since my employers' insurance is too expensive. I am not taking any meds or treatments, so I do ok. > Hopefully you will find something somewhere else where they are a little more aware of that. We aren't the only ones that have issues with strong odors. > Yes, we all pray to win the lotto! lol Good luck! > > Colleen > > ________________________________ > > To: fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Sunday, March 4, 2012 2:02 AM > Subject: Re: Working full-time... > > > Colleen, I'm a Graphic Designer. I'm at the computer all day, and it's a long day from 8.00am to 5.00pm. I've been told that humans shouldn't sit at a computer for more than 5 hrs a day! I'm applying for other positions, but then I think if I get an interview, how am I going to feel on that day??? I work at a printing business and some days the fumes from the printers ink and cleaning chemicals/solvents are soooo strong. My boss doesn't believe in doors so even though my job requires me to work in the " office " he subjects everyone in there to the crap/fumes from out the back where the printers are. I pray I can win the lotto...lol > > Sim > > > > > > Hello Sim > > I'm so sorry you are struggling. I know exactly how you feel. Yes, I work full time most of the time. It depends on how many hours they need me at work. But I do IT work, so I sit at a computer all day. Some days its bad, but what bothers me the most is how I have to go back out into the cold to go home (I live in Michgan). The cold causes so much pain and flare-ups for me. > > What do you do for work? Do you sit at a desk or are you on your feet? A few years ago, I was a waitress and I swear it helped me because I was moving constantly and keeping the muscles warm. Although it wore me out each day, I was in much better physical shape than I am now. Sitting on your butt all day at an office is so bad for your health. See if you can get some type of exercise, even if it's easy walking or some stretching. > > Have you applied for disability? You have to get your doc behind you. I've heard its tough to get. > > Hang in there. > >  > > Colleen > > > > > > ________________________________ > > > > To: fibromyalgiacured > > Sent: Thursday, March 1, 2012 5:40 PM > > Subject: Working full-time... > > > > > >  > > Hi everybody, > > > > Does anyone else work full-time like me and how do you cope? Some days I want to run out of the office crying in pain, but I hold it together somehow. > > > > Sim > > > > > > > > > >
