Found a great article that gives detailed information about

gallstones and different Western therapies.

Here's a quote I found useful:

" The solubility of cholesterol is determined primarily by the

relative proportions of bile acids, lecithin, and cholesterol in the

bile. Thus, anything that causes a decrease in bile salts, an

increase in cholesterol, or a decrease in lecithin will create a

relative insolubility of cholesterol in solution. "

It also offers very detailed information on mainstream treatment

methods. I found the nonsurgical treatment methods section very

informative.
