Thank you Joanne,

It gives me goosebumps thinking about the future and picturing myself happy and

healthy without my eating disorder controlling my life. I have my first

appointment tomorrow with the dietician (the one my therapist is telling me to

go to). Honestly, I feel like it will end up with me sitting there holding my

tongue and trying not to tell her that I don't believe anything she is saying.

But i will let you know how it goes!

There is also drug and carb addiction in my own family. There are 10 kids in my

family (I am the oldest) and it makes me so sad to watch each child start to go

downhill once they get to about age 16-17. My brother was addicted to drugs

(replaced it with cigarettes) and my sister is VERY VERY addicted to carbs and

is starting to binge on large amounts of food. I hope someday I can share what

I've learned with them and help them.

I do feel blessed to be learning the things that I am learning at a younger age.

I want to be a good mom to my little boy (he's 11 months old) and I know that to

be a good mom I need to be well. I read an article a few months ago on Bee's

site that talked about how if we aren't well and we have a baby we can pass on

all of our problems to our child. I'm trying to feed my little boy as close to

Bee's healthy diet as I can, and I want to heal my body before I have another

baby (especially a girl- it terrifies me to think of having a daughter go

through what I've gone through).

I want to get into ketosis this week. How will I know once I'm in? Will I need

those strips that the Atkins diet has people use? I know you water fast to get

in, would you recommend that. I feel like a few month ago when I was doing

extremely well at sticking to Bee's diet 100%, and I had almost all the

supplements I may have slipped into ketosis a few times. I had no cravings and I

was even getting nauseas at night.

I would love to get involved in the holistic field. I'm not sure how to go about

it or even what I would do. There are a lot of natural food shops around where I

live but I sometimes wonder if I am just going to to be given lots of useless

information. It's hard to sort out what is true and what is false. Do you

believe or feel like homeopathy or essential oils do any good? I'm starting to

question those as well... I do know that homeopathic remedies and essential oils

from my midwife put me into labor when I was a week overdue!

Have a great night!

Tahnee
