Guest guest
Hi ladies, Does anybody know when we were told that we were being implanted with saline, that would last a lifetime and if it ever leaks your body will just absorb the salt water. How can they lie about the actual product like that, if we knew that they were all silicone bags holding the saline I wouldn't have gotten them, I specifically said I didn't want silicone, why doesn't anybody out there know that is the case. Everytime I mention it to someone in the medical field they are shocked and didn't know thay are all silicone shells. Isn't that intentional FRAUD. They told us we were getting something when in reality we got something totally differnt. Can't we get them on fraud. For lying about what was in their product. Instead of all this arguing over wether they make us sick or not, the simple fact is we did not get what we were told we were getting,If a doctor told you there was a certain medicine in a bottle and we believe that and then find out he lied about was in the bottle, and we got sick wouldn't they be accountable? I just don't get why the manufacturers couldn't be prosecuted for fraud. Ask anyone that doesn't know our cause and they all say the same thing, I didn't know they are all silicone. How come they can still use them? Terri P
Guest guest
I run into the same thing, Terri. When I talk to people, even doctors, about saline implants being unsafe, they always say that they are just saline. What about the shell?? Every single person I have spoken to has been surprised that the shell is a silicone shell. Guest guest
Terri, My PS told me that the shell was in fact silicone, however it was a different form of silicone, a harder one then the silicone that was placed inside. He also explained that the illness caused in the past was from the contents of the shell leaking into the body, which was why the need to change to saline. He never discussed the shell disinigrating into my body. Guest guest
Honey, this is a quote that I found this morning regarding Saline Breast Implants: "All saline products have an expiration date. What is the reason for the expiration date, if not to protect patients from outdated saline? In the body, warm, wet saline-filled implants are a breeding ground for bacterial and fungal growth. The shells of these implants are semi-permeable. Contaminated saline can enter the body, making it a continuous bacterial and fungal dumping ground." Take care honey...love always.....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Re: The lie about having saline implants, Terri, My PS told me that the shell was in fact silicone, however it was a different form of silicone, a harder one then the silicone that was placed inside. Guest guest
-Kenda, Ahmen sister!! It is true. Thank you are we the only ones that know about the issues with all implants? I don't think so but the public doesn't know just like we didn't know and we were having the procedure done, we were augmented with implants that were only described as safe saline. I believe alot of the doctors just don't believe us, tests and other Dr.s diagnoses are just ignored, and now alot of us are poor. I lost everything I had worked for. I am not alone. Guest guest
Terri, People seem to understand that saline implants can cause illness when they realize that the shell is silicone too. Additionally, no one ever thinks about a contaminated implant emptying into a woman's chest. It only makes sense that women get sick if fungus-contaminated water is flowing through their body. Guest guest
Oh, the lies! I was told that my bi-lumen implants -- saline on the outer layer, and silicone gel inner, were lifetime and safe because if they every ruptured the saline would go into my body and not the silicone. Oh, my word. What a BIG bunch of hooey - I like that word hooey, Kenda. It's neat! I always was paranoid that they would burst from the cabin pressure when I went on flights. Thank God I don't ever have to think that thought again. Love & Healing Prayers, Sunny > > I run into the same thing, Terri. Guest guest
, isn't that sad that we had to worry about our chest exploding in public!! lol...well, sort of funny. I'm so glad to be rid of that concern!! And it's so great to hug people and feel comfortable. That's what I love the most! Blessings, Sunny > > > > I run into the same thing, Terri.
