Guest guest
Tea tree oil also works very effectively for toenail fungus and is much milder than oregano. Internally: I take 20 drops in an empty capsule up to 3 times a day (with meals). Externally: Get a small dropper bottle and put 10-20 drops inside. Fill up the rest of the bottle with olive oil. Apply this to your toes every day - I do it after showering. It may take some time but it definitely works. > >Just be careful with it - it is very strong! If you get the oil on the outside of the capsule you might want to fill another one - it will really burn the inside of your mouth. Same with the external - you might want to try just the 10 drops in the olive oil and then if that is OK add some more. The first time I ever tried it I did not dilute it at all - I just applied the oregano oil right to my toes - ouch! The next morning my foot was throbbing and my toenail fell off in a day or two. So don't overdo it. > >Good luck! > >cherspunky1@... wrote: > > >
Guest guest
Do you need to dilute it at all? Also, can you take it internally or just topically? I would like to try it - it certainly smells better! Doyon <lisadoyon@...> wrote: Tea tree oil also works very effectively for toenail fungus and is much milder than oregano. Guest guest
I've used tea tree internally a couple times with lavender in lemon and hot water for a cold, but I don't know that much about it. For the fungus, though, just put a couple drops straight on the toenail, twice a day, I believe for 10 days (it's been awhile). Karyn Witzel wrote: >Do you need to dilute it at all? Guest guest
Hi Karyn, I was wondering did it ever grow back? So did your fungus go away?Do I put the oil around the toe nail or do I put it on the whole thing. Regards Cher
Guest guest
My fungus has definitely improved. I still have one tiny little spot left on my right big toe but I am beginning to wonder if that is a bruise and not fungus. The rest of my toes look great - I don't mind going barefoot anymore after years of hiding my feet. It hasn't grown back but I am still continuing to use and take the oil internally every day. I usually use a dropper to put the oil around all of my toenails. I don't put it on the rest of my foot. I try to make sure I get it around the edges and underneath as much as I can. Again, taking it internally also helps get it from the inside. Karyn PS - You don't have to dilute the drops you take internally, just the ones you put on your toes. cherspunky1@... wrote: Hi Karyn, I was wondering did it ever grow back? Guest guest
Anyone who has a problem with toenail fungus, I actually found a natural product that WORKS!!!!!! It is called Leucatin and you can get it online at: http://www.leucatin.com/ Not cheap, but I have tried many things, some of which partially worked, but one toenail just would not clear up, and this is doing it, it is about 2/5 clear at the base and growing out. And all the others with minor fungus are also clearing up. You need the spray and the tablets (all natural also). Check it out. Wow, better than Lamisil for sure!
