Guest guest
, Lana can help you with the silicone hypersensitivty issue . . . She knows the questions to ask the doctors! And know how to put them on the spot to get what they need. . . She's one sharp cookie. She's had to fight a huge fight for her kids. But she's winning! Lana <lanadearest@...> Antibiotics are neccessary for some things . .. Thank God for them. Hopefully the days when a doctor feels that he must send patients home with an antibiotic for everything are coming to a close. I've only recently been hearing that SOME doctors are telling their patients to take probiotics when they take antibiotics. It's really scary when you think of how much damage can be done with antibiotics. Thankfully, she only does about two-three weeks tops of them, and not longer term. I agree that even the over use of antibiotics is very scary. But, MRSA being so resistant and agressive I can't avoid it when she has an "active" infection going. My fight then, is to keep her from getting them at all. I will have to re-research yeast, in kids. I'm wondering if Graperfruit seed extract, Oil of Oregano and fresh garlic might help with MRSA? We have tryed the Oil Of Oregano on the bottoms of her feet twice a day. Not sure if it was helpful or not? She loves to eat "raw" onions and we feed them to her everyday. I do sneak fresh garlic into a lot of things we eat as I feel it is good for the whole family. I just heard about Grapefruit Seed Extract and will have to research it more, even for my own detox. two things that appear to be helping the kids is avoiding product/medicines with silica/silicones OH MY GOSH, this last time in the hospital with her, I tryed to be her advocate and talked to every DR. that came in about the silca/silicones in her antibiotics. we tryed to explain that she had silicone poisoning from breast implants as I had carried her while I had them. Most of them just shook their heads and told us that they would check into it, and then we never saw them again. They looked at us like we were crazy. I looked into a compounding pharmacy, and found out we need a referral for that. Its a nightmare. putting the kids on a very healthy diet - hopefully from birth. This reduces the level of toxins their little systems must deal with. I SO AGREE WITH THIS, and we have seen the difference it can make. Kylie is doing SO much better, on organics (I even had her on Organic Infant Formula) and fruits/veggies/chicken. Along with the probiotics and the Oil OF Oregano. I wish there was some research on the effects of ionic foot baths, or detox foot pads on the levels of heavy minerals and toxins in kids. . .. So much needs to be done! . . . Thats the bottom line, and it is hard, b/c no one has any answers for these poor little kiddos. Sometimes I feel like she is the guinea pig, and we are just spinning our wheels. Thanks for taking the time to answer Rogene. You are such a wealth of knowledge and a blessing to so many of us!!! Have a GREAT day! hugs, ~ married to DH Mark, and sharing the lives of nine busy children. <3 <
