Guest guest
Do you have to use the calculator? I am really so busy and my husband is concerned about us doing the diet, cost and time wise, but I figure has to be done. I have just reduced carbs a lot - cooking with coconut oil, use up our pulses and things like that can the diet be done meat free - etaing shelfish and fish, eggs instead? ________________________________ To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Thursday, 19 July 2012, 1:33 Subject: Re: Bianca: Calculator to work out how much fat carbs and protein we need  Hi Joanne, How do you keep track of the # of carbs in fresh foods? Are you weighing everything? I'm looking at a bag of snack-sized carrots and noticing that unless I want to take all of the carrots out of the bag, count them and divide by 5 (which I don't want to do!), I would have to weigh them to know. What is the easiest way to keep track of carbs?  Thx,  >________________________________ > >To: " fibromyalgiacured " <fibromyalgiacured > >Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 5:15 PM >Subject: Bianca: Calculator to work out how much fat carbs and protein we need > > > >Bianca > >This is the calculator i use to evaluate how much fat protein and carbs I need > >I do have the correct level of fat and protein but I only have 15g of carbs. Guest guest
Hi Bianca, I used fitday only a few times after I figured out my ratios for my size-then you get a basis for how much fat, protein you need. If you stick to the recommended vegetables, and have a couple of cups a day, you would not go over. I do eat some of the cheaper meats a day-fatty pork, and chuck roasts, chicken legs/thighs, as well as some fish and eggs. Fish costs more than those meats. We need only a moderate amount of protein. Bee has a recipe group. There is not a lot of time involved in cooking on the diet, unless you are trying to do substitutes for the comfort foods. It is so good the whole family will be doing this, as it makes it so much easier, and better for their health. Best wishes C > > Do you have to use the calculator?
