What is deflation? Does the doctor just remove the saline and leave the

'envelope?' I can't see what that would accomplish. Except, of course,

you could have them refilled again easily. So, they're trying to

protect us from making the 'wrong' choice and being unhappy without

implants--have I got that right? Phooey on that!!

Lynda, thanks! That makes more sense! LOL! But I don't think it would

be possible to do except on women who haven't had them in very long, and

who have formed very little capsule. My capsule was about 1/4 inch

thick, and hard and calcified!

,

you got it, that is exactly what they are trying to do and what my

ps was trying to do. She has seen many women change their minds. I

really really grilled her on 'would this be surgically EASIER for

you then' and she said no, quite the opposite. PLUS you can have

the fluid leaking in you. The ps also kept saying it would give us

an idea of how I contract and heal. I said 'well, we'll have an

idea of it, it will just be a few weeks later than you'd like'. I

told her firmly, several times, I wanted one stop shopping :) If

you search the old messages for 'deflation' you'll see all my

initial comments and the same conclusion you just came to was echoed

in the responses.
