Kelli's Cabbage Roll Soup

Need:

Big Soup Pot

Skillet with lid

Large cooking spoon to stir with

Knives to cut Vegetables

Cutting Board

Garlic Press to Press Garlic

Ingredients:

Water

1 Can Tomatoe Sauce (No Sugar) ; 1 can of Cold Water

3 Cloves Garlic, Pressed

1/2 medium Onion, chopped

1/4 small Green Pepper, chopped

1 small head of Cabbage

1 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef, browned and drained

Spices to taste (Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Onion Salt, Oregano, Basil,

Ginger)

Fill large soup pot 3/4 way full with cold water. Put on stove at high

heat.

Press Garlic, chop Onion and Green Pepper and add to the pot. Add Spices to

taste.

Let Boil for 15-20 minutes. Chop Cabbage in small strips, add to pot. Add

can of

Tomatoe Sauce (no sugar - I used the Kroger Brand) to the soup pot along

with 1 can

of water to make sure you get all the Tomatoe Sauce into the pot. Brown and

drain

the Ground Beef and add to the pot. Let cook another 10-15 minutes. Voila!

Done!

Very delicious and easy to make! I can't believe how good it is! Reminds

me of my

Mom's Cabbage Rolls in a way... hence it's name!

Estimated counts (I'm not an expert and don't know quite how to read the

USDA charts)

950 Calories, 83 Protein, 53 Fat, 55 Carbohydrates, 20 Fiber

That is for the whole pot, it depends on how you serve it up and how much

water you put

in as to how many servings there will be.

Enjoy!!! =) I know I have! And now I have lunch and dinner for a few days!

Love and Hugs,

Kelli from Texas =)
