Guest guest
Joanne, There are other links, but the one I sent seemed to be the easiest to read. One on line has the 4th edition intro, that mine did not have. Taubes book has a part on Banting, and the history of carb restriction to combat obesity. It is interesting that Banting thanks God in his letter, for His help in finding the diet. In Banting's day sugar was more expensive, but meat was too. I spend less on food now, even though more meat, as I do not buy fruit, and dairy. C > > > Â > I could not open the link. This might be because I am in the UK, but I found the pamphlet on another site > Â > http://www.lowcarb.ca/corpulence/corpulence_22.html > Â > So lovely, so well written, clearly from the heart, and I could feel the desparateness to get this message out there. No doubt fell on many a deaf ear. Once a person is obese the idea that a diet where there is pleny to eat is unimaginable, and for the professionals that deal with folk in this position even less acceptance it seems > > >
