Guest guest
Hi , Im 59, psa 12, Gleason 8.... I have two of 12 samples with cancer... Im having the prostate removed Dec 11 by davinci machine.... My bone scan was negative... had a CT scan yesterday for OR prep but no results yet... I believe I will be coming up negative. My cystoscopy showed little complications, swelling of the prostate into the bladder, typica of BPH. The doctor said it should be a typical operation with no complications. I chose not to go the chemo route, because the prostate cannot be operated on later if need be. It sounds like you need to take all agressive treatments necessary. Removing the prostate will stop that, but Im not sure of the lungs and bladder.. I dont understand how spots on the lungs being cancerous wouldnt be a future problem.... Did the doctors say it was OK to leave them? How did they remove the cancer during the biopsy? That is done rectally and the procedure doesnt come near the bladder...Its strictly syringe taking out a sample of the prostate tissue. I dont know about any other procedure on the bladder done rectally.. I would think it would be done endoscopically thru the abdomen. (If they removed tissue) If you choose to take religious support to cure your cancer, that is your right and choice. Cancer has gone into remission for many reasons religious or mindful intent, but the mechanisms are not well understood. You need to be ready to accept the fact that if it doesnt there will be no cure if the cancer is allowed to get worse. I would be taking every possible medical procedure and med to help it along. I dont intend to have anymore children and IM choosing to live than to put up with an agressive cancer. In my case it came on quickly. Ive been watching the BPH over 4 years. THe second biopsy came back cancerous. Im not waiting to see if it spreads to other organs. Knowing all about what I know of Reiki and other healing modalities would not make this cancer go away. I have an uncle who chose NOT to have clinical or medical intervention. He died from it. Pure an simple. In his case he didnt want to go thru any of the harsh chemo treatments that were available at the time. Im not trying to get into religious discussion. I believe each has a right to believe what they want. Just respect the others believe and let them do what they wish. But as a simple question to you.. Are you looking to leave your destiny to Jesus and not take reponsibilty to care for the body he gave you in this life? We live in a time of better health care than even ten years ago. I hear of more people survivng cancers than ever before. But not by taking no action.... It is your choice. namaste` Phil --- Manley wrote: snip Best Regards Phil Peer into my world.... http://myamiphil.mosaicglobe.com/ Owner and Moderator: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hsp_Visual_Journey/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hspwork/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hspspaces/ Co-owner / Moderator: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/sensitives/ Moderator: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/FulltimeRVingSeniors/ ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Cheap talk?
