Very well stated Gene. If all the leaders in EMS, educational, operational,

advisory, and regulatory had your insight to the challenges that we face in

Texas we could solve these problems in short order. I believe you are

accurate in your assessment of the situation. I , for one, appreciate your

evaluations and suggestions. I have always believed that the elements of

EMT-I and EMT-P training are better served by the community colleges as you

stated. Things are always changing, we will only change with them if we

remain " teachable " .

Thanks again and kept us informed of the progress.
