Ah, I figured it out.

Actually what did was okay. The pictures only show up in the email boxes of those who have chosen to receive individual messages. Only those members will ever see those photos, and they are not available publicly to anyone else. In that sense, they are private.

Since photos are not archived in group, nobody who reads messages on the group webpage can see them, and therefore, we should be safe!

But, just the same, I prefer that those pictures be shuttled over to our Shutterfly site, which you've already done, so thank you!
