Guest guest
Has anyone ever thought of, or done, any kind of method of flushing while in the middle of a GB pain attack? The reason for this question is because I have been thinking about this for some time. If any of the 'old timers' in this group could please reply, I would much appreciate some opinions. My reason of questioning is brought on by what I think is logical though I may be wrong or missing a vital point to this. Here's what I'm thinking... Since the pain in my GB comes after eating a heavy fatty meal, and comes 2-3 hours into the night after eating, wouldn't this be the best time to help that stone move out of the GB? I've been told that what is causing my pain is the fact that my 'hard, calcified', GB stone is in the process of trying to get out through the small duct and is stopping at the mouth of the GB, thus causing the pain and swelling of the GB. This to me sounds like the perfect time, while the stone is moving and trying to exit, to help it finish it's journey. Could I, while in the middle of pain, drink Epsom to open the ducts more, and then 1 hour later down the oil mixture? Would this work vs. doing it while not in pain and the stone is maybe sticking or not moving so readlily? Just a thought that would like some opinions. Thanks. Barry.
