Hi

Funny I hated the taste of reg table salt but like the celtic sea salt

I use only a very tiny amount -

do you have a sensitivity to other seasonings?

Ciao-

Ange

Subject: Taste of salt

Decided to try sea salt again. The problem is that I hate the taste

of it. I've heard that it tastes good if you need it. However, I

believe I need it, but the taste is too strong. This may be

related to my lack of sense of smell which seems to make

basic tastes such as salty be very strong while other tastes

are muted.

Any ideas on how to tolerate the taste?

Hi Ange, Since I lost my sense of smell, it seems the basic

tastes of sweet, salty, sour, bitter are overpowering at times.

I ate a spicy Chinese dish the other day, and all I could taste

was the hot peppers.

Maybe I need to use less of the salt. It was recommended on another

list to take 1/2 teaspoon a day.
