Guest guest
Hi, Yes to what Joanne said. On some of the low carb/high fat websites, they do make sure they get salt. They say that eating that way, your kidneys work better. They are more efficient, and will take the salt out of you as well as other impurities, So I take 1 1/2 tsp a day of moist, gray sea salt, and do not drink a large amount of water. http://www.saltworks.us/shop/product.asp?idProduct=348 C > > > Â > Normally Bees recommedations for supplementation are low in dose, but on this occasion her recommedation regarding sea salt, is higher than most sites encourage. One teaspoon or less is what we normally find on most sites, but bee is recommending one and half teaspoons. There are many reasons for this, but in brief this is to do with Bees ideas about food only is really needed for the body to heal, and that meds and supplements for a healthy person that is eating correctly are not usually needed since our ancestors did not need these things. Bee does allow some supplementation in the early days of the diet, but as we get well most of us start changing these too foods. For instance a lot of folk stop taking the cacium and magnesium and replace this with bone broth, some folk change from the B Complex to Nutritional Yeast, and as we get healthier we are able to lower the dose on the Vitamin C etc. removed] >
