Cheese cake ?'s again

I am making the NY cheese cake again and I was wanting to add some davinci rasberry syrup to it. Does anyone know if this will work, or will it make it to "runny"? Would I possibly need to increase another ingredient? This is the recipe I will be using:

1/2 cup Splenda 2 TBSP. melted butter 1 1/2 cups sour cream 2 eggs 2 tsps vanilla 1 lb. (2 - 8 oz packages) cream cheeseBlend sour cream, eggs, splenda, and vanilla until smooth. Addcream cheese and beat until smooth. Beat in melted butter and pour into a buttered spring form pan. Bake 45 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Cool and then chill at least 4 hours. Top with Lucky Leaf splenda sweetened cherries.Kathy :)
