Guest guest
Quite a few women have reported discharge from their nipples . . . it sounds like it might be pus . . . All the more reason to get them out ASAP, and by en bloc. Hugs, Rogene leyna1964 <leyna1964@...> wrote: Ok, this is kinda gross, so if you have a weak stomach, then don't read any further! LOLFor as long as I can remember, I've had what I call crusty nipples. It's sort of a brownish or greenish color, and I can pick it off my nipples.Of course I scrub my breasts every day when I bathe, so it's not dirt.I've asked several gynocologists what it is, but none of them had any idea or seemed bothered by it at all-one even said that he's seen other women with the same problem.I'm guessing now that it's my implants....has anyone else had this, and if so, does it go away after they are explanted? Guest guest
If you have this with implants still in place, then I would say that the implants are contaminated, probably with fungus. Guest guest
I figured as much. My nipples do not look normal, and have looked like this for as long as I can remember. They look " dirty " I guess, although they're not at all. Yuck. Hopefully this is something that will go away after I get explanted. > > >Ok, this is kinda gross, so if you have a weak stomach, then don't > >read any further! Guest guest
Well, I'm not describing it very well. It's not " pussy " at all-it's just the tips of my nipples are " crusty " , and I can pick it off-it's not liquid at all. It's been like that for as long as I can remember, and no doctor who has ever seen it has ever been concerned. It's got to be from my implants I guess-hope it goes away after explant! --- Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > Quite a few women have reported discharge from their > nipples . . . it sounds like it might be pus . . . > All the more reason to get them out ASAP, and by en > bloc. > > Hugs, > > Rogene > > > > leyna1964 <leyna1964@...> wrote: > Ok, this is kinda gross, so if you have a > weak stomach, then don't > read any further! Guest guest
It could be that your body is hormonally primed, and that this crusty stuff is dried colostrum or the liquid that the breast produces as it prepares for lactation. This is not unheard of with women that are implanted. Silicone is estrogenic in nature and can instigate hormonal fluctuations in the breast. I would not be too concerned about it, but hopefully, after explant, it will disappear. PattyLeyna <leyna1964@...> wrote: Well, I'm not describing it very well. Guest guest
Hmmm-that does make sense. I'm not really sure what "hormonally primed" means though! I am in surgical menopause though, due to a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago. I still have the crusty stuff though.Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: It could be that your body is hormonally primed, and that this crusty stuff is dried colostrum or the liquid that the breast produces as it prepares for lactation. Guest guest
I guess I would define "hormonally primed" as having experienced xenogenic (="originating outside the organism or from a foreign substance introduced into the organism") effects from estrogen-mimicking chemicals or substances. This estrogenic activity could be from the implants themselves, or from the chemicals you have been exposed to due to implants, foods, cosmetics or other sources. "Spontaneous lactation" is listed as a possible side effect from breast implants. Estrogen dominance is a serious problem for women. It has been called a silent epidemic. It can lead to breast cancer and other cancers, leads to early puberty, and many other health issues. You can read more about it here: http://www.drlam.com/A3R_brief_in_doc_format/Estrogen_Dominance.cfm In any case, I would expect that this discharge will stop after explant. If it does not, then you should get it checked out. By the way, I also wanted to mention that some women experience menstrual and reproductive problems that lead to miscarriages, inability to get pregnant, and hysterectomies. I thought I would mention that, as it seems the list of damage that implants can do to our bodies is endless! Patty Leyna <leyna1964@...> wrote: Hmmm-that does make sense. Guest guest
That is very interesting! I do take HRT for my menopause, but it's a Bio-Identical one from a compounding pharmacy, made especially for me. I get my hormones checked quite often, and the dosages adjusted if they are off balance. I got my hormones checked last week and am still waiting on results from that. I have had 3 miscarriages but they were all before my implants were put in-but I did start having a lot more " female problems " afterwards, which finally led to my hysterectomy 2 years ago. --- Tricia Trish <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: > I guess I would define " hormonally primed " as having > experienced xenogenic (= " originating outside the > organism or from a foreign substance introduced into > the organism " ) effects from estrogen-mimicking > chemicals or substances.
