Guest guest
Anyone been tested for a mycoplasmal infection? I read recently that over half of people with fibro symptoms test positive for this virus. I am thinking to get tested just to see what comes up. One of the problems I had soon after getting implants was a hematoma (a large quantity of blood that collected in the capsule and under the skin), and after a week the surgeon had to go in and apirate a lot of smelly blood, about a pint! I got deathly ill about a month later, and I have always wondered if that in-office visit was what triggered it. I remember how he went in through one of the incisions and suctioned the blood out, and I was laying there, wondering if the instruments were sterilized. When I had my first battery pof blood tests, nothing came up to signal an infection, but I am still suspicious. Mycoplasmal infections supposely damage the body's cells, reducing their ability to function. There is evidence that Gulf War Syndrome is caused by it, and it is also one of the deadliest secondary viruses that an HIV victim can contract. I have a good friend who died of it. I have read that medicinal mushrooms (reishi, shitake, maitake, cordyceps, etc) can be used to treat it. Anyone out there know more?
