Anne, as a huge fan of Dr. Schulze, I can tell you that he recommends a pretty thorough bowel cleanse before doing a liver flush because you could end up feeling worse as your colon will be unable to handle the added burden. He also espouses a 'mild liver flush'. This would be orange juice, olive oil, 2 to 4 cloves of raw garlic, a pinch of cayenne and about one inch or so of fresh ginger to be blended up and drank in the morning. Increase the olive oil according to tolerance. He says he makes his patients earn their liver flushes. Hope this helps.......Betsy Anne wrote: > I have drawn the conclusion that not everyone is suited to the short sharp method of this cleanse, especially people with weak stomachs. If you can possibly stick with it and be sure to follow all the directions like the bowel and parasite cleanses first. Then when you do the flush to use fresh squeezed grapefruit juice as it mixes much better with oil than lemon. And I found that after 2 very successful cleanses that I detest the taste of the Epsom salt and that it helps settle my stomach to suck on a wedge of grapefruit (even more than a mint) because it really cuts the taste. Be sure you take enough E.S. the next morning to help the ducts open for the stones. I had a failed flush once because I didn't take enough ES. It is the poisons in the body making you sick. The power flush I just did with all the oil was definately no picnic...but really really worked. As a matter of a fact I felt really yucky as my body was trying to pass all that. Which it did. Going and going and going. Sometimes not much...but it all adds up. I pray your good health and determination to continue. We didn't get this sick overnight, but we can just about get unsick over night by getting this out. Tip...did you shake the oil and grapefruit juice in a shaker? And use pink grapefruits? That really helps and it doesn't really taste that bad. Be encouraged. I know the disappointment of a failed flush. Guest guest
Hi Anne, If you aren't able to do the fast liver cleanse, perhaps you would be interested in the slower version. http://www.liverdoctor.com I have the liver cleansing diet book. I think it is a good book. In her book she also gives this faster method, but offers several slower methods too. ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com ----- Original Message ----- From: " Vanadeux " <VANADEUX@...> <gallstones > Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2002 2:09 PM Subject: Very disappointed, unsuccessfull cleanse. > BlankApart from trying for three days to find out why I couldn't receive my gallbladder digests!
