Sorry for the confusion..... but I am confused !

I am getting very worried because my one nipple is hurting

and when I looked at it, I saw nothing until....

I looked in the mirror and it's all purple around my nipple

so something is going on inside of there don't you think?

I am trying to keep calm all through this mess

I was explanted already I have to go under a knife again

Geeeez....... they should have done it right the first time

I am due for my mammogram that's all

You think I should wait till the capsules and scar tissue is removed

All that junk still left inside me might give them a false reading anyway

Not that you are a doctor but maybe you have some idea of why

My knees are painful and very swollen where that crawly feeling was

It felt like worms crawling in my knees 24/7 when implanted

I cannot take this agony much longer, I wonder what happened

Do you think it could have been parasites crawling in my knees ?

When I was explanted the crawly feeling dissipated immediately

but my knees have left me sort of crippled. I have not been able to

bend my legs at full range or put on stockings since implantation

Sandy . . . Why are you having a mammogram done? . .. Regular checkup? . . . Or do you have a mass?

If there is something suspicious, by all means you should get a mammogram, or, preferably MRI . . .

I'd suggest talking to your doctor. The doctor may be able to help you get those capsules removed. . . The article by Dr. Blais may help explain your request. The fact that you'ver remained ill since your explant should be reason enough.

When we say capsules and scar tissue, we mean the same thing . . .

The body walls of self from non-self by building tissue around it (in this case breast implants). . . It's often called scar tissue . . . But, as I understand it, it's really not scar tissue, because it has a blood supply - so it's called a capsule.
