Guest guest
I meant to comment on that post about you wanting breast milk and people thinking you were nutty,or whatever.I wanted to give my brest milk when i was brest feeding hayley, but i did not make enough milk.I might have,if I had gotten up to pump more at night, but, since she was sleeping through the night I did not get up.I was 40,had chronic fatigue and my baby was sleeping through the night,so I did not get up.She was in the 90th percentile for her heeight and weight.I was taking lots of supplements.Lots of EFAS,and i do think,at times when women breast feed, they switch sides before the baby gets the hind milk, which is high in calories. So baby is only getting foremilk,if mom switches sides before baby gets to the hindmilk. The foremilk is not high in calories.Anyway,I did not like breast feeding,so I mostly pumped and put into glass bottles.I did for about a month.Nursed, but I hated it.It hurts, besides,I did not want a baby attached to me all day.Plus,I had my son,who needed time and attention to,as he doesn`t do much for himself.
