Guest guest
> > Terri how do you know the capsule is still there ? > My operative report states that the right breast had capsular contracture and complete capsule was removed, while the left breast a generous biopsy was taken of the left capsule and sent to pathology,no mention that it was removed like the right breast, also on mammogram it shows up as a starburst snowy area. But the doctor would have put removal of capsule if indeed he did remove it, he did that with the left, Terri P
Guest guest
> > OH ..had you not asked him to remove it before surgery ? > As I said I didn't know anything about explant until after I had mine done. That is when I found this group only a few months ago. Nobody I knew had it done before and I didn't know about en-bloc, I didn't even know who to send them to afterward, At the time my records were 20 years old. They were no where to be found. I didn't have any papaerwork because I knew the PS personally and he gave me a discount so he didn't even write anything up. He is a very well known PS in Beverly Hills, I kept in touch with him through the 20 years but he always told me that the problems with implants were only silicone and I had saline, I didn't find out alot of the lies about the combo of saline and silicone until I was looking at my pathology report and it was positive for silicone. I wish I would have known about this group a year ago, but I was all alone in this. I went on the internet about silicone sickness and so I knew I had to get them out but nobody there said how, I just started contacting Ps that would remove them. The explanting surgeon even put on my report silicone sickness hysteria. Yea I wasn't happy about that either, he didn't put in anything about the left implnat being deflated They were Bilumen Surgitek. He saud they were intact, but one had leaked all of the fluid out of the outer shell, possibly through that Valve I heard so much about, He didn't weigh them or put in anything about the leakage. I sent them to be id by the only place I could find on the internet. Dr. Resch Engineering, He just identified the brand, I paid 400 for that he didn't weigh them either or put that they had leaked or what stuff was in there. He was suppose to sen them back as per contract but I have not received them yet.My attorney just sent him a letter requesting them back, I would like to send them to be examined for what is inside ie fungus, mold, bacteria whatever. I can't believe it How many are we going to have to go through, And they still don't believe any of this, Like we just love having surgery on our breasts, what woman would choose this for no reason?
