I had thought long and hard about going to Dr Schnarrs I schedule and canceled several times with him..I'm in Va and he's only 3 hours from me....but I'm so sick I decided to go with Dr Kolb. Good Luck to you.. I know really liked him. Yes, I've had symptoms about the entire 9 year span. Pseudotumor Cerebri (elevated brain fluid, pressure, loss of vision), migraines, Hashimoto's Disease, Hypothyroidism (100 pound weight gain), Connective Tissue Disease / Degenerative Joint Disease / Degenerative Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Polycystic Ovaries and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (without presence of std's, so maybe related to undiagnosed yeast problems), G.E.R.D., Tinnitis, and positive ANA results/probable Lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome -I quit looking into that with specialists after 1 diagnosis... and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Enough to know the exact months I went from 100% healthy to becoming disabled in a matter of a few months after implanting. Schnarrs' office seems super duper nice... plus, he's way more affordable. Good luck with your explant!!! -Brigite

I think I'm one of the ones that need someone to hold my hand and walk me thru it and if I don't get btter after using DR Schnarrs the I know I can't ask for Dr Kolbs help and she has been nothing but nice and helpful to me on line and on the phone...adn i don't know what Dr Schnarrs would do if I didn't get better ? When is your surgery ?

When is your surgery ? I can't afford surgery yet. We're trying to sell a vehicle to pay for it. I went ahead and made a consultation about it, though, to see exactly what charges I'm facing. Kolb may be able to treat more, but that's so much to pay, then STILL have to pay for all the detox and healing part. I'm sure she's a wonderful doctor, but it's nearly impossible for me to scrape up the quotes I've gotten else where... there's no way I'd ever get what she charges, not to mention what would be spent on detox. I know she takes insurance, but mine doesn't cover me out of state, and she doesn't take Medicare. From what we've seen on here, detox is a must. Hopefully the route I'm taking will allow me to afford what I'll need to do to detox later. I will never be able to afford Kolb or to travel down there, which makes the knowledge learned on this board PRICELESS!!! Which ever road you go ---good luck! -Brigite
