I just looked at an OLD file I had.. actually have a brochure from Modulance about that beast. Anyone used the original Telecare???

Started in EMS in 85 (1985 that is...) The caddi's were gone from our area, but I did get to work out off a "wide body van', yea- the ones that were literally cut down the middle (front to back) and had another 2 feet or so added. (ugly, ugly, ugly)

Our cardiac monitors were made by "Mennen-Gretbach" (not sure of the spelling) They resembled mailboxes - some went up to almost 470 watts (yes, watts !) The only problem was you had to bring it inside your crew quarters between calls to charge the battery(and hope you remembered to bring it on the next call !) running out of juice mid-call also wasn't much fun.

Remember stainless steel yankauer suction tips, choke savers (looked a long set of plastic meat tongs) or nasal catheters ?

Who was it swapping patches ? Reply hewittfire@...
