Guest guest
Thankyou for the information,Judy.I did not know that.My bank account, and amazon acctounts and such are under my comacast acct.I hope that means I`m safe.I did call my band and say,I thought,I had spyware or virusis on my computer. They put a hold on any on-line activity. > > I don’t know if you’ve heard yet but Yahoo was hacked and some people’s passwords were stolen. If you want to check to see if you might be involved there is a website where you can put in the first few letters of your email address and see if you are one of them. Here is the address: http://dazzlepod.com/yahoo/ . I checked mine and it is alright but I think I will change my password anyway as I haven’t changed it for a while. > > Judy H > To Health Through Knowledge > Started taking Low Dose Naltrexone on January 20, 2009 for > Fibromyalgia, Restless Legs Syndrome, Hashimotos Thyroid and PCOS > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/LDNforFibro/ > >
Guest guest
This just happened on Wednesday and mostly affected older Yahoo accounts. However, it is a good idea to change your Yahoo password anyway. And while this did affect just Yahoo, if you use the same password and email address somewhere else, it may affect that also. In order to post on Yahoo you must have a Yahoo ID and email address whether you use it or not. So it is that password that you should change. Actually, it might not hurt to change your other passwords now anyway. It’s recommended that you change them every few months. Also, don’t have the same password for everything. I have 3 basic passwords, but I use several numbers and characters with them on different websites. I also have 5 different email accounts. And yes, that means that I have a little book that I guard carefully that I have them written down in. I also have two people that I trust who know where I keep it in case something happens to me. I have it written in pencil so that I can change the information whenever I change passwords. As for your bank, if you find a virus or spyware on your computer, get that fixed first and then change all your passwords.
