Dear Ilena,

I am praying that enough women and children will come forward to help the cause.

I appreciate the letter talking about women with implants that have had mastectomies. I have some people that I would like to share that with. Only problem is that I do not really know these people. I only know of their situations from church.

I sent a letter to you personal email that I am not sure if you got or not. Do you know or heard anything about Dr. Most that is in with Dr. Kolb. Dr. K said that he has been there a while and has done en bloc removal for several years. Have you heard of happy patients or anything? Maybe even you that would email with me?? My friend Betty with the 40 yr. old implants is ready to get them out and Dr. Kolb has broken her arm a couple months back.

Thanks so much for everything you do!!!

I have been told that there are two strange things in my lungs, could be silicone, has anyone had this removed?

I am so tired needing to have bone marrow this month for MAGUS spike, am getting no where going backwards it seems.

Claims Administrator's Desk Last Updated: 10/10/2006 @ 1:40 PM

The Settlement Facility continues to process new claims, review additional information sent to cure deficiencies and process requests for Error Correction.

Please note that Judge Hood has signed an Order extending all cure deficiency deadlines to January 17, 2007. This includes cure deficiency deadlines that have or will run up to and including January 16, 2007. You may read Judge Hood's Order extending the deadline by clicking on " News Updates " .

As a result of cure deadline extensions, we have received a large number of requests for re-review of information to cure deficiencies. Since the volume of requests may not allow us to review your information as quickly as we would like, please allow at least 180 days for your disease re-review requests.

The Deadline for submission of claim forms for Classes 7, 9, 10.1 and 10.2 and Rupture Claim forms for classes 5, 6.1, and 6.2 has passed. Claim forms received after June 1, 2006 are considered late and are barred from consideration for payment.

Please note that the Plan provides that if you have had your implants removed within 90 days prior to the deadline, you will have an additional 30 days in which to submit your Rupture claim form and supporting documents. This applies only to the Rupture Option offered in Classes 5 and 6 (Dow Corning Breast Implants).

All Claim Forms are available for download on this website. Please select " download " on the home page, then select the class of form needed in the language you desire.

Pursuant to Annex A, Section 6.03 (i) (iii), regarding administrative costs for processing Classes 9 and 10, the Claims Administrator has determined that in order to avoid unnecessary administrative costs, Claimants who have approved claims in these classes will be paid quarterly beginning in the December 2006 payment cycle.

The Settlement Facility – Dow Corning Trust (SF-DCT) will hold an informational meeting in Manchester, England for all Settling Claimants and attorneys/law firm members who represent claimants.

The meeting will take place on November 1, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport on Chicago Avenue.

Since seating is limited, please RSVP to Claims Assistance by calling the U.S. toll free with your AT & T access code (0800-89-0011 or 0500-89-0011) 866-874-6099 or by e-mail to info@...

.. Please provide the number of attendees.

Austern, Claims Administrator
