They often have one (or more) of the following: artificial color, artifical flavor, sweetener, preservatives. And as Betsy said, the pasteurization process destroys the natural enzymes. considering all that, a juicer is a very worthwhile investment! in health, rachel~

Guest guest
Amen , make yer own juice! Get a couple of juice books on recipes and combining. Ten years I ago I transcribed all 9 cassette tapes of Jay Kordich the juiceman (mentored by Norman ). If I can get my friend to scan this info, I'll post if for everyone. Some good stuff. I have about 5 or 6 juice books and refer to them for different ailments. Also grow and juice my own wheat grass in a special juicer. A month ago my cabin was full of 8 flats of wheatgrass. Silly me. of Dewberry Hill a juicer is a very worthwhile investment! in health, rachel~ " People are like stain glass windows; they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is alight within. I find this to be a really easy way to make sure I'm getting plenty of veggies, and I also add fresh veggies to the drink, too. In the morning I really like to do V8 juice, spinach, add some ice and mix it all up. > > I read the label and see a list of veggies (all of which I believe are on the okay list), and the only thing questionable is " flavoring " which is almost the very last on the list of ingredients. > > I'm also experiencing low blood sugar symptoms every day, and I have to eat something to help it calm down. Is there any time line, if you will, of how long this will last? +++Hi Janelle. I wrote in reply to your previous message that you are not experiencing low blood sugar - see my reply for details. When you get such symptoms it is important you are doing all you can to help your body detoxify, including Epsom salt baths, Bee's Electrolyte Drink, coffee enemas, dry skin brushing (or some other mild exercise), and that you are taking all of the supplements, particularly omega 3, vitamins A, D, and E, Vitamin B complex along with niacin (B3), etc. It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy. During the healing process there will be many ups and downs because of the way the body needs to heal itself. So it is not a steady uphill climb towards health, where you feel better and better every day. As your body gets stronger, and you may be feeling pretty good, it becomes able to heal more, and you'll get more symptoms because of it. If your symptoms are intolerable you should cut back on the amount of unrefined coconut oil, and take more time to increase it; slowly and gradually. Also eggs are antifungal too, so you might need to have less and increase them slowly too. The best to you, Bee
