Guest guest
Well, ladies, it's time for this googli-eyed (pardon the internet pun!) granny to get some shut-eye. Emma and I are heading west to the Bible College for a day and one night visit. We're going to see my goats and visit some friends. Back Sat. afternoon for her 4th birthday party. Her birthday is Monday, but we're having it early so 's family can attend her party. She is SO sweet. Today when we were out shopping, she kept saying (she loves to repeat) You make me waff (laugh) Mama (grandma)!! Then she'd laugh hysterically. And we'd both laugh. And then she'd say it again. This went on for about 10 minutes straight. What a joy she is!! She's finally starting speech therapy again, after a long wait. We'll be going every Fri. a.m. (my daughter-in-law) bought her 3 dollies at the thrift store today. Later in the day, while doing respite, we went to another thrift store, and I bought her a bag full of infant clothes, that would fit her dollies. She's having a ball now! It's so awesome to see her progressing. With Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome, the children can progress, and progress and then regress terribly. It's like 5 steps forward, and 4 back, etc. We're praying that she will have a long life...at the outset, lifespan is supposed to be 40 yrs. It's a 1-day at a time experience. With a multi-organ disorder, you never know what's going to happen. Pray with us, that she'll live a long, joyful life! Thanks! Love to you all & hugs to you and yours, Healing prayers and many, many of God's blessings be upon you, Sunny
