Much as I love watermelon, that cleanse wouldn't be hard for me. I think I'd

rather just take warm bubble baths all through the day and eat melon then and

when out. Boy would that be fun. Too much melon and fruit over a few days gives

me candida though. But watermelon is so good for you.

Here I am again. :)

Can you elaborate on how you know that the melon & fruit gives you candida?

I know they are high in sugar - but I mean how do you know that you have the

candida from them? Do you have specific symptoms that increase after eating

a lot of fruit/melon?

I'm just interested to know how people 'know' these things. :) Thanks.

Thanks for that explanation, . I've never experienced a candida

imbalance, personally, and it's interesting to read what it's like for

someone. I'm sure others appreciate the description as well. :)

Well, I notice my candida first in my ears. They start feeling full and

crackling inside and itchy. I had been doing all good things when this happened

with the water melon juice which I'd bee drinking for several days (washing rind

well and juicing the whole thing) and realized it was the juice that did it. But

ya know what? I dearly love watermelon and it's so very good for you in other

ways. So I do indulge. Candida imbalance can definately be managed by slowing

down on starches, and taking oil of oregano oil, colloidal silver or vegetable

juices adn garlic really cut it.

Wow Michele, I really do admire your sticking at the watermelon 'cleanse' I

just could not spend that much time in the bath to be honest.

Hi ,

Well, Monday morning and survived the weekend! Had my first colonic

hydrotherapy on Friday and did the kidney cleanse on Saturday! Quite proud

of myself now and getting ready for the liver cleanse this Friday coming up.

The Colonic was a great success - more so with the fact that the

hydrotherapist was a massive follower of all cleanses/juice fasting etc and

totally on the same wavelength in thinking on this matter. Felt fantastic

when I was on the jouney home - felt very clear headed and as though I was

'smiling' inside - the weirdest of emotions! Definately recommend it!

The Kidney 'bath' cleanse ended up quite fun and had a lovely 'me' time

with plenty of mags, books and the radio to keep me company. After the first

hour (juiced the first watermelon and stored in a bucket of ice until drunk)

my 'wee' was completely clear, which I presumed was the result of my kidney

being 'washed'. No discomfort at all and only side effects was my feet were

so white and wrinkly had to keep sticking them out to try and dry them and

was extremely fed up with watermelon 8 hours later! So I presume my kidneys

are in quite good shape now (heard that if you do have kidney infection or

stones etc that it would hurt to wee due to the watermelon's antiseptic

qualities in the rind).

All in all feel great and can't wait for Friday night (crossing fingers that

all this preparation is going to help the liver cleanse),

Many thanks,

Michele

Hi Michele

I've heard of that cleanse, but never knew anyone who actually did it.

It's

not my personal cup of tea, but I would be interested to hear your

experience

with it and results that you think you may have obtained. And I'd also

like

to know if you looked like a prune at the end of a day in the bath. :):)

I did, though, attempt a watermelon kidney cleanse once. Just in the

sense

of attempting to eat nothing but watermelon for a day.(just didn't sit in

the

bath) I'd like to believe that it did me some good - but I was really

sick

of watermelon by the end of that day!

I hope you have a positive and productive experience.
