Guest guest
A blender is tall, slender and blade is at bottom with little space around it. Best for blending semi-liquid or easily mushed type items. Large chunks will not slide down onto blades very well to get chopped up and pureed. Some things work fine but not for making cauliflower fake potatoes and such. A food processor has a large short bowl with blade at bottom with space around it for food falls into path of blade for chopping, blending etc. Does not whip as much air into food as a blender. Processor is better to use for cauliflower potatoes and such. Not good for a milkshake or similar.
