Guest guest
Yes, it's Crazy Granny Sunny up until all hours of the a.m. I slept 'till noon today, so I'm extra energized! It's gotta be that Flax Oil working on my brain - hurray for Omega 3! I heard an interview on the radio today with an Independent Member of Parliament from Ontario, Canada that gave me hope. He was dismissed from the Conservative Party for being honest and truthful and exposing some of the " criminal activity " that goes on at the parliamentary level. Anyway, I got so inspired that I've been reading his website for the past hour and a half and composed and sent an encouraging email to him. It's about having a voice. I'm in the midst of composing a " letter of love " as I like to call them, to the Medical Devices Bureau - our equivalent to your FDA - and letting them hear my voice loud and clear. I'm seeking counsel from Garth on how to get a petition from the people that WILL cause change, not just suggest that they look at a citizen's concern, and shove it under the table - AGAIN. It's giving me strength to look into Childrens Handicapped Services policy of no relatives allowed to do respite care. Look out, here comes Granny! Anyhoo, last night I gave Cutie away to a loving home - a single Mom with 2 adorable children - Isabella 2 and 4. It's another letting go of my sister (as it was her cat I inherited almost 5 years ago when she passed on) and a symbol of a new beginning for me. I've literally lived in a cocoon for almost 5 years, meaning just hangin' out with my immediate family, and feeling " safe " . Well, that little caterpillar is poking holes in the cocoon and rarin' to get out! I'm off to Calgary at 7:30 a.m., a city an hour and some south of us, to take my friend Patty and her Down Syndrome boy for an appointment to the new Children's Hospital there, I'll also be visiting my Auntie Tillie, who has dementia and is very lonely. My Mom's only living family member - 86 yrs. old. She's in a nursing home and very depressed. It'll be fun to bring her a gift and cheer her up. Catch up with y'all tomorrow night. From on the wings of a beautiful butterfly, I wish you all freedom from suffering! God bless, Sunny
