Guest guest
You can't expect immediate results from many programs - garlic is an exception! . . .that's why you need to keep a journal . . .changes often are slow and subtle. It's when you look back a month or so at a time that you'll see how much progress you're making. Guest guest
I did some detoxing, not much. I drank a lot of water, and took some supplements recommended. I did not do all the other stuff like clay baths, foot baths, saunas etc etc. For me, it was mostly time. I know others here will disagree, but I think our body has a built-in 'detox' system - our kidneys, liver, urine etc. My health has improved dramatically. > > To thoughs of you that have gotten better after explant....did you do a lot > of detoxing etc...and if so can you tell me a good place to start....or did > you just get better with time ? Guest guest
-Rogene, This is so true but a good reminder. Thanks! That is how it was with my brain funtion. I just noticed that I was remembering more and more of what was said. Or what I had to do, it was just back (the memory I mean) Terri P -- In , Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > > > > You can't expect immediate results from many programs - garlic is an exception! . . .that's why you need to keep a journal . . .changes often are slow and subtle. Guest guest
, I have not done alot of detoxing, my body doesn't react well to certain things. I'm getting better with time, and just taking good care of myself - not eating sugar, eating more fresh vegetables, drinking alot of water and taking a probiotic. You have to be consistent with your habits. You were explanted two months ago, it's going to take time. Have you tried a probiotic? If so, are you using it faithfully, every day? You've tried alot of different things, but from what I understand, when it comes to natural healing, it takes our bodies a couple of months to respond to supplements, or a change in eating habits, or even exercise. It's not like taking a magic pill. I'm not 100% better, but I've seen improvement over time. The first six months or so I didn't see much of a change, but after that I noticed subtle changes. I hate to discourage anyone, but 'though I am improving I've been ill for 12 years now after my explant. TIME, it takes time, ladies. I took a turn on the 'pity pot' now and then, so don't feel bad if you find yourself there...just get off! :-)
Guest guest
I think a lot of what needs to be done depends on why we got sick. . . . Rejection of materials? fungal issues? infection? Until someone cares enough to do the research, we can't be sure. . . IMHO, we need to adopt the healthiest diet and lifestyle possible . . . and if that isn't doing the job, checking out other healing modalities can help. Probiotics should help everyone though! The balance of beneficial vs. negative organisms has been upset - Those need to be restored. Rogene
Guest guest
, IMHO, the best direction you can find is in Rubin's "The Maker's Diet" . . . It's all about restoring a healthy digestive system. Once that is done, the body can begin healing itself. Rogene
Guest guest
I agree that our bodies seem intuitively to want to seek to go back to a state of wholeness. Doctors don't heal us, we heal ourselves. We can nudge our body back in the right direction with detox, better diets, supplements, etc. I truly believe in these. But it does take time...and perhaps that is our body finding its way back. It is as important for us to " believe " we are getting well, as everything else we do. There is a powerful connection between the subconscious mind and anatomic body systems which can control our health. Guest guest
Kathy, I have seen incredible healing when dealing with the subconscious mind. When I lived on the West Coast of Canada back in the 90's I took some training in doing " Clearings " ...not hypnosis, but being relaxed enough to reveal what lies just beneath the surface. Unbelievable results, for myself. I spent a year-and-a-half receiving and giving sessions. I had a very destructive " program " running where I believed that the only way to be loved was to be sick. My mother was very busy and worked full-time, 6 days a week. I barely saw her as I was growing up. My father was away from home trucking, and he was also one of my sexual abusers. I made a decision back then when I realized my mother responded to me being sick, I got attention and gifts....so boy, did I milk that! Also, my father would leave me alone if I was sick. Double decision. As I grew up and had relationships, I noticed a pattern emerging everytime. Also, being ill meant that I wouldn't have to be responsible for all the work I had to do and could justify asking for help. WOW! All I can say, is that it really controlled my life. I had made massive changes, with the healing sessions. Then, when I continued to get sicker physically, I was really questioning God! Then, last year....the answer to the mystery! My implants! Hooray for this site and I am so grateful for all of you.....and God's guidance. We all deserve wellness in the 'nth degree!! Bless you a whole bunch! Guest guest
Sunny, I think there is some sound science (and I mean that in all seriousness) in that type of 'clearing'. IT sounds like a meditation, of sorts. There was a point in my life where I tried biofeedback to help with a very stressful time in my life. It was very similar to what you descirbe, only I had the electrical tests to show its effect on my heart rate, etc. And it is a way to induce a lower heart rate. It's amazing. In fact, it is something I would like to start again - not the biofeedback, but the 'clearing' or meditation. To me, that is all medication is. And that is a lot. > > > > > > > > To thoughs of you that have gotten better after explant....did > > you do a lot > > > > of detoxing etc...and if so can you tell me a good place to > > start....or did > > > > you just get better with time ? Guest guest
Wow Sunny - you have come so far, how inspiring. I have this great mind-body book that I am reading before surgery, to put those positive msgs in your mind prior to being operated on. > > > > > > > > To thoughs of you that have gotten better after explant....did > > you do a lot > > > > of detoxing etc...and if so can you tell me a good place to > > start....or did > > > > you just get better with time ?
