Guest guest
Rogene is in Arkansas. She will undoubtedly chime in here soon. What insurance do you have? Saline or silicone implants? Guest guest
Many of us have thyroid problems from implants. Two doctors who remove them properly live fairly close to you, Dr. Melmed in Dallas and Dr. Huang of Denver. Guest guest
Hi Tr . . . I'm in Arkansas . . . Hot Springs Village . . I'm one of the old-timers . . . Lynda is too. I'm getting into a very busy time where I won't be posting much . . . so, if I miss some messages, just know that, I'll get to them when I can. Welcome to ! . . . you're among women who understand . .. not necessarily why implants made us sick, but that they did . . . There appear to be several reasons why - but it doesn't matter. It also doesn't matter what your diagnoses are. . . Once a woman gets her implants properly (key word: properly), she begins to get better. Sometimes she gets better quickly, sometimes it takes much longer . . but most of them get well enough to know that life is good again. If there's anything we can help you with, let us know! It is great to be among women that understand. My determination to find out what is wrong has been a lonely and often misunderstood journey. Right now I am in poor health and could use any guidance you could offer. I have Mega Life and Health insurance. I live in North Little Rock, Ar. and don't know where to turn or look first. I don't trust any doctors I have previously had because I have gotten now where. I'm sure you can figure what their diagnosis always is.....medicines to try and mask your symptoms and of course they always say...DEPRESSION! Who would'nt be depressed when you feel like a prisoner in your own body.
Guest guest
Yes, your story sounds like many other women's stories. We totally understand what you are saying. And treatment for depression is a temporary fix and may even make you worse as it is more toxins in your body. Where are you in your search for removal of your implants? Guest guest
Tonya . . . Please write to me privately . . . let's see if we can find a doctor nearby . . . one that may be covered by your insurance - if you have insurance. In the meantime . .. jaundice is usually related to liver overload . . . I'd start with Milk Thistle . . . do some web research on it .. . it's cheap and easy to do. Then, consider the gall bladder/liver flushes on www.curezone.com . . . I'm dogged tired right now . . . but we need to share more info. If your hubby doesn't understand, some of the women will be happy to let their husbands talk to him. . . The husbands who've seen their wives gone through this (and who have stuck it out) are more supportive to their wives that ever before. Dr. Melmed in Dallas would be a good choice. .. emelmed@... . .. Just tell him that Rogene tells you that en bloc, with drains as long as necessary is the best way to go. His costs are about $6600 for everthing. Let us knw what we can do to help. Rogene Tonya <tr_powers@...> wrote: > > >> > > Hi Tr . . .> > >> > > I'm in Arkansas . . . Hot Springs Village . . Guest guest
It is a good idea to get the implants out as soon as possible. However, I also believe that sometimes treatment for depression is important. I had help through this, and it saved my life. I do think you should listen to your doctor on this one. > > > > > > Hi Tr . . . > > > > > > I'm in Arkansas . . . Hot Springs Village . . I'm one of the > >old-timers . . . Lynda is too. Guest guest
Sometimes depression masks other symptoms, but I do know that many women take antidepressants, and some just got worse with this treatment. I am a social worker, so I do support antidepressants, but often we find that women poisoned from toxins get worse with additional stress on their immune systems from drugs. Getting the implants out seemed to solve many women's depression problems as they began to detox and get the poisons out of their systems. Guest guest
Messed up neuro-regulatory hormones cause depression too. Having these tested and treated can often times end depression. Guest guest
There are lots of reasons for depression though...for instance, last year I was very depressed, having panic attacks, severe brain fog, crying spells constantly, the whole bit. I tried every herb and vitamin I could think of, with no luck. Finally I broke down and went to a psychaitrist, who didn't even do any kind of tests-they just threw me a prescription for antidepressants. I refused to take them, until I had exhausted all other choices. Anyway, to make a long story short, I went to my Gynocologist. He took one look at me and ran some labwork. Ends up that my hormones were WAY out of whack-I had almost NO estrogen in my body at all (I had had a complete hysterectomy and needed HRT!). He gave me a huge estrogen shot and put me on hormones, and I felt WONDERFUL! Then I went to my Endocronologist, who ran more bloodwork and said my thyroid was way off balance, which was causing my panic attacks. He lowered my dose of thyroid meds, and wow-no more panic attacks OR depression. No, psychiatrists will not LOOK for the root of your depression, only try to cover it up with very addictive pills that will mess your system up even more! --- Lynda <coss@...> wrote: > Sometimes depression masks other symptoms, but I do > know that many > women take antidepressants, and some just got worse > with this > treatment. Today is my anniversary 1 year, well I had my implants 20 years and have been sick for 10. I had what I thought were safe saline implants, but later found out they were bilumen surgitek which means they are saline and silicone gel. I didn't know all this implant stuff applied to me as I was told about 18 years ago by my PS it only applied to those with silicone, which is a lie, especially since he put in the implants knowing they were both, Any hoo this is the place where you can get true info, The ladies have helped me and alot of others. I have been here a couple of months, Again Welcome you are among friends who do care. Terri P Aloha from Hawaii

Guest guest
Lynda, I concur with what you said about antidepressants. I have struggled with bipolar disorder most of my life...it's in my family. I have had great success with natural products, but there have been times when I've had to take them. And at one point in my life, they literally saved my life. My psychiatrist is very supportive of 6 month temporary medication periods, and then weaning off. Very important to wean off, and not quit cold turkey. I find that the more raw foods I eat, and stress vitamins I get in my body, the better I feel mentally. My son manages his by running! I wish I could run....oh, well...the day will come. Maybe I'll even enter a 1/2 marathon & kick my son's butt, ya think???? lol I love all the info. on this site and value your knowledge, Lynda. Guest guest
Thanks, Sunny. I prefer a rational approach and not just handing out medicine like candy. Seems to be done often. Especially antibiotics. I have taken antidepressants. I do know that they are necessary sometimes, but many could work out other solutions like you have! Congratulations on searching and finding what you need without being totally dependent on allopathic medicine. That is what we like to see. Too many buy what allopathic medicine says, hook, line and sinker. Lynda At 04:44 PM 8/24/2006, you wrote: >Lynda, I concur with what you said about antidepressants. Guest guest
Sometimes antidepressents is a rational approach. And sometimes they are not handed out like candy . I am going to let this drop, but I would urge anyone with serious depression to seek professional help. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Tr . . . > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I'm in Arkansas . . . Guest guest
Lynda, thanks for the encouragement. I was on anti-biotics every 3 months for bladder/kidney infections from birth to 30 yrs. old. My goodness, I had more yeast infections than you can imagine. Finally, I had corrective surgery from a birth defect, and 'voila!' no more infections. It took me years to replenish my body. Also, I had my ears " candled " and you should have seen the white powder that was in my ear canals -- from the antibiotics! Amazing! Guest guest
Molly, I agree totally that severe depression has to be treated pronto. I almost committed suicide 2x as an adult, and at 16 yrs. old I took a bunch of my Mom's pills, until my heart was pounding out of my chest! I passed out and woke up in the morning totally fine! I was shocked and relieved at the same time. I knew then I wouldn't kill myself -- God wanted me here for a reason. Although, when I was working through the pain of sexual abuse in my adult years, I came close -- it wasn't so much that I wanted to die, but just not be here for awhile or to be so numb I couldn't feel the excruciating pain. Thanks for all your info & sharing over the past few months. Love & Hugs, Sunny > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Tr . . . > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I'm in Arkansas . . . Guest guest
Yes, antibiotics can be life savers, but oh, can they be abused. I can imagine what toxins are in your system, but you can clean it a lot now that you do not need to be on antibiotics. I have not taken an antibiotic since 1985, have had pneumonia twice (maybe three times) and Legionnaires's pneumonia once. I fought through them with the help of my Naturopath. Just took things to boost my immune system. There was a time or two that I almost gave in, but I did get better without them. I still have fungal problems from the chemo and the silicone, so still fight that. My daughter had mega problems in her first year and was on antibiotics regularly. Then she had fungal problems as a small child. I would take antibiotics if I absolutely had to, but I certainly do not know a single one that I have not reacted to when I did take them. I had constant sinus infections for which they gave me (guess what) antibiotics, and we now know that most problems like this have a fungal base, so it just made it worse and worse. No wonder they call it the " practice of " medicine. I came by my concerns about too many antibiotics from experience, and I do know that many people live much longer because of them. I just am concerned that too many times they are not necessary as many other holistic things would work very well. Lynda At 10:32 PM 8/25/2006, you wrote: >Lynda, thanks for the encouragement. Guest guest
Lynda, I totall agree with you. I did some research on Oil of Oregano. It's so awesome. Anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-biotic, and so much more. Its stronger than most antibiotics and does not have side affects. Only you have to stop taking it for 2 weeks before surgeries, because it is a natural blook thinner. Thanks for all you education and info. You're another angel! Guest guest
Sunny, Since you have been candled, do you really believe the white powder is coming from your ears? I have done mine and my family's ears several times and we all have the powder and some goo. It seemed impressive until I split open a candle and found white powder and noticed that the burning candle itself produced goo. Just wondering what you think..
